Today’s 9/25, Dolly Parton day, and today is the day I leave the team I’ve been working on for 5 years.

It’s truly bittersweet - I’ve grown to love this team, but it has taken a major toll of my mental health and I need to put myself first.

To celebrate, I’m sharing my most recent illustration, one that I’m very proud of.

I will always be true to myself and make weird, macabre horny artwork. I’ve always been fascinated by those exaggerated codpieces that Henry the VIII’s puny ego was obsessed with, and I’m of course also a fan of extremely thinly veiled metaphors. This idea knocked around my head for a little while and then spilled out all at once.

I’m finally excited to see something of a personal style emerging in my works. Also very excited to see how much I’ve progressed since returning to artwork in such a short period of time.
